This is an active serial loopback project using PicoBlaze and Verilog. It's purpose is to demonstrate the use of UART code (attribution: Jim Patchell) in conjunction with a PicoBlaze microcontroller. The PicoBlaze assembly program waits for a byte to come in on the receiver and then transmits the byte. This forms an active loopback. The design also lights the LEDs with the current data byte.
The zip file contains the two UART files, the main FPGA design file, the UCF file and the assembler source file.
